Build A Bear Workshop Giveaway

Out of the Box Publishing Giveaway

A California Caramel Company apple arrived just in time for me to step on the plane to meet my family. I placed the apple in my carryon and that night sat around my parents kitchen table and offered a piece to my father, grandmother and brother in law. My grandmother said, "I am not a fan of caramel apples" before I gave her a piece. Then she took a slice and then another and then another. Alright, these are the dreamiest infant shoe ever. I love infant shoes that look like shoes I would put on my own feet! My son absolutely adores this Green Toys Recycling Truck. I love it because it is made out of high quality materials and is incredibly sturdy. This toy has actually lasted a few weeks so far at our house without being broken. I expect this recycle truck to last for a good long time as it is created to last. Dear E-Friends,

I am saddened to say that I lost my dear mother today. Her cancer finally took over, but she is pain free and at peace now. Please don't feel sorry for me as now I have the most amazing angel watching over me, helping me as I raise my young children. It amazes me how news travels quickly. The warmth of friendship has been pouring in! Thank you for all your kind tweets, emails and phone calls. I will not be posting for the next week as I spend time with my family. I know I have a TON of emails to respond to. I am sorry that I can not get to those promptly. Please know my focus is on my family and celebrating my mother's successful and honest life. This past weekend I received the most amazing package! A box STACKED full of age appropriate books for all three of my kids! It was seriously one of the most impressive boxes that I have seen arrive at my house. There were soft, fabric books for my baby. Board Books for my two year old and beginner reader books for my four year old. These books entertained my kids for three straight hours. Yes, three hours of no fighting on a Saturday....serious bliss!!!! These books also came with Dr. Suess and Baby Einstein tote bags, so the kids have been carrying the books around all weekend long in these new totes as well. As a former teacher I know the importance of reading to your children at a very young age. Exposure to books at an early age positively impacts your child's future academic success. At our house we have a daily routine in to make sure that my husband or I do read to our kids each and every day.
